For several years now, world-renowned bio-mechanists have been studying the complexity of our favourite sport. 

To put it succinctly, it appears that we use 3 forces in the golf swing: horizontal (transfer), rotational and vertical forces. While the vertical force seems to be the most prolific, we are not all designed to use it as a major force. In fact, these researchers, in collaboration with world-renowned coaches, have set up a battery of simple and quick tests that allow each of us to know our main strength. 

Even twins are not identical in the tests, and where one will have to concentrate on rotational strength, the other, unable to rotate properly, will more easily find his source of power in horizontal strength. 

Even at the highest level some are not able to use this or that force. Optimising the force that suits us should not be a matter of choice, but the result of a thorough analysis of each person's qualities. If he or she complains about not being able to turn, it may be that he or she is simply not built to turn...
