Health Pass

Le 26-07-2021

Dear Members and Abonnés Below is a press release from the French Golf Federation which has been sent to us specifying the terms of the Health Pass imposed by the government.

From today, we are therefore obliged to monitor all people wishing to access the course, practice and other facilities by scanning the QR code of your sanitary pass or vaccine certificate.

I know that all this is difficult to understand for an outdoor sport, but I will ask you all for the greatest cooperation with the staff who will have to check your Health Pass, digital or paper version during your mandatory visit to the reception.

Thank you very much for your cooperation and hoping this situation will be soon be something of the past.

French Golf Federation Press Release from 21/07/2021

Faced with the spread of the new Delta variant in recent days, the government wished to extend the application of the Sanitary Pass to all ERP (Establishment Receiving the Public) welcoming more than 50 people across the site including those in open air.

Golf courses fall into this category.

The terms of application are specified in Decree No. 2021-955 of July 19, 2021, published on July 20.

All establishments open to the public are concerned, including Outdoor establishments.

Therefore, the Health Pass applies to any adult person entering a golf course (excluding volunteers and people working in the golf course).

It also applies if this person wishes to go directly to the practice or to the tee without going through the clubhouse.

As a reminder, the "health pass" consists of the digital presentation (via the TousAntiCovid application) or paper, of a health proof, among the following three:

  • Vaccination with a complete vaccination schedule (2 doses)
  • Proof of a negative test (RT-PCR or antigen) of less than 48 hours
  • The result of a positive RT-PCR or antigen test attesting to recovery from Covid-19.

If the Health Pass is not presented, access to the golf course must be refused.

Faced with the evolution of the current health situation and the progression of this new variant, we invite you to be extra vigilant for the proper application of barrier gestures.

The golf health protocol of June 30 and its competition and entertainment annex are still in force without modification.

Depending on the evolution of the health situation in the territories, the Local Authorities may be required to take additional measures in the coming weeks.

Please be assured of our support.
